And in the end we lie awake and dream of our escape.

Harrowing week, but this signifies the start of an endless stream of harrowing weeks. Mami ahh...

Chemistry test was good. I died in the Math test.

We tried out a variety of food outlets throughout the week, so no surprise that we ended up broke by the fifth day and had to go to the market for food. They have this really good zap fan stall that cook a zillion dishes and still charge you really cheaply. One plate of zap fan with enormous helpings of lala and a bowl of iced lin chi kang costs only about RM3.80. Dirt cheap right? So it's worth the loooong walk there.

Oh, did I mention that 3/4 of my class dislikes/hates/am terrified of cats? Even the small kitties can induce a healthy screech from one of my louder classmates. :) The stray kittens are so cute that they play with your bag straps and treat your favorite pants as their scratching posts.

Today our class gave Mrs Adeline (chemistry and our mentor) and Ms Audrey (our diva-ish psych lecturer) a rose each. :) Which means I owe Ben money. I owe Sarah money, too. =( Aaah the woes of being treasurer.

We watched the Dark Knight for Psych. :o) The day before, when our class ended early, we got a healthy dose of Whose Line Is It Anyway. :o)

We went back to school today, =) which was awesome, cos' it's refreshing to see the earnest and enthusiasm in those youngsters (youngsters? I'm only one year their senior!) as they prepare for Sports Day. Yes, I went to see the Unggul kids. Sweet reunion! :D

Sai Mun's got an offer of acceptance into the University of Adelaide. Congrats sweetheart!

You asked me if you should stick to Monash-U (which you have already paid for) or go for gold. I smiled and told you that it's your future and it's your decision.

Here's the ugly truth, honey. Selfish as this might sound, I don't want you to go to Adelaide. I sat there in the lobby while you went to enquire about the refund and I cried just thinking about the possibilities of not seeing you regularly for six years.

But as I said, it's your future. Don't let me be a factor in your hopes and dreams. :)

I feel like a reluctant matyr. What a bad start to Valentine's. :(
