In my happy little place. =)

:-O

New, unofficial Strawberry Swing video!

The previously launched Strawberry Swing video.

Personally I love the official one better, though both required a massive amount of work (stop-go motion, anyone? You could clearly see the fingerprints of the maker on the dolls.) .

And it's off to chemistry for now.

Jack chopped the beanstalk, and down came the giant.

It's been busy, with Math DIs and CTs done, there's the silence before the storm--being an event-free week next week--and then the eruption. Trials feel closer than ever before.

Still, it does not stop this lass from accessing the Internet (finally!) and thoroughly enjoying herself before returning to the grinding board. It's about time that she checks on updates from Coldplay.com, drools over the coveted seats that Coldplaying fans have snatched up for the Wembley performances (which no doubt will be awesome--there's nothing more amazing than watching the entire stadium singing along every line), reads long outdated entries on Twitter, and in the midst of everything, realizes that her Facebook profile is still keyed in as "In a Relationship".

I'm not.

It's up to you how you would like to react, if you had not known that already. I would accept any emotional offers but sympathy. I'm not in such a state that you would have to sympathise with me.

In fact, I feel a new kind of happiness. So this is the feeling of rebirth. Renewal would probably be another word to describe it.

It's the time when this girl pays extra attention to the beautiful unique details about the people around her i.e. her friends, now that she is released from any sort of emotional bonds, and is pleasantly surprised to discover beautiful things about them.

It's the time when she feels closest to her mother, whom all these while, had been the greatest pillar of her strength. Her mother, who taught her that cooking was a simple but effective outlet of tension and internal turmoil.

It's the time when, despite the recent break-up, the girl goes ga-ga over prom, even when prom is still two months away, because she's going to it with the most unlikely person in the world, and she finds that she's actually looking forward to it.

Trials is only a week away, but I'm running on a euphorical high everyday, because I'm phasing into a different stage of my life. I could feel it so clearly that it's almost physical.

Reflections aside, Muse's Time Is Running Out has never felt sexier.

We tried it out yesterday during band practice in that musky studio in Subang Jaya, and we are pleased. The drums and bass are amazing. Pleased, except of course for the singers themselves, because they feel as if they sound like they are on karaoke than trying to pick a second song out for the impending prom performance auditions. Who can match the God-likeness of Matthew Bellamy's shrieks?

This girl is off to lunch, and then it's back to the guilletine.
